CHAPTER 3

Ekansh’s Inner Monologue

“Finally, I’m working on my dream project. The France deal—if it closes—Rajvansh & Sons will dominate all of Asia. This isn't just business... it's legacy. I’ve built this from the ground up. I don’t have room for distractions—especially not from Aditya.”

“I told them. No drinking. No clubs. No foolishness. But Adi doesn’t listen. He thinks life is a game. This time, I won’t let it slide. Let’s see how they enjoy their little party now… because reality is about to walk through that door.”

Scene: A High-End Club, Paris – Late Night

The bass thumped through the luxury club, the kind frequented by Paris’ elite. Glittering lights flickered above, casting golden halos on the dancefloor.

Aditya and Karthik were in the center of it all—drinks in hand, soaking up the wild energy.

Aditya (laughing):
“Karthik, admit it—I was right! Bhai Sa is probably snoring, and we’re out here living! Paris, baby!”

Karthik (uneasy):
“I still have a bad feeling about this. You know how he gets…”

Suddenly, the music cut out. The lights dimmed to a dramatic red glow.

The crowd turned toward the VIP entrance.

A single figure stood in the doorway, commanding the room with his silent presence. Tall, cold, with an aura that screamed power—Ekansh Singh Rajvansh.

Karthik (whispering, frozen):
“We’re doomed…”

Aditya (gulping):
“Run?”

Together:
“RUN!”

They bolted, darting through the crowd, but it was too late. Ekansh walked forward, the sea of dancers parting like waves in his wake.

He didn’t raise his voice.

He didn’t need to.

Scene: Hotel Room – Later That Night

Aditya and Karthik sat side by side like schoolboys caught red-handed. Ekansh stood across from them, hands in pockets, but his eyes held thunder.

Ekansh (calm but deadly):
“I gave you one rule.”

Aditya (swallowing hard):
“No drinking. No clubbing…”

Ekansh (cutting in):
“And yet here you are. Do you think I’m a fool, Aditya? You drugged my drink. Do you think I can’t smell crushed medication in water?”

Aditya (nervously):
“I just thought—”

Ekansh (louder):
“You didn’t think. You never think.”

Karthik (quickly):
“Bhai Sa, I swear I tried to stop him!”

Ekansh (coldly):
“You followed him. That makes you just as guilty.”

Silence.

Ekansh (after a pause):
“Fine. Since you both want responsibility, you’ll get it. The New York project—you're handling it. Alone.”

Aditya and Karthik (shocked):
“What?!”

Ekansh (voice low, cutting):
“No assistance. No team. No guidance. You prepare the pitch. You close the deal. Or you face consequences.”

He stepped closer, looking directly at Aditya.

Ekansh:
“And if you fail… I’ll talk to Dada Hukum about your engagement to the Princess of Jaipur.”

Aditya (panicking):
“Bhai Sa, no! That’s not fair—”

Karthik (pleading):
“That’s a life sentence!”

Ekansh:
“Life doesn’t give second chances. Neither do I.”

He turned to leave, but paused at the door.

Ekansh (without turning):
“Oh, and your cards? Blocked. Two months. Let’s see how well you manage now.”

Slam.

The door shut behind him.

Scene: Karthik’s Room – A Little Later

Aditya lay flat on the bed, groaning into a pillow. Karthik sat on the floor, head in hands.

Aditya (muffled):
“He’s a monster. A scary, terrifying, genius monster.”

Karthik (groaning):
“He said 'Princess of Jaipur' like it was a punishment worse than prison.”

Aditya (sitting up):
“Karthik, we need to pull ourselves together. This isn’t just about Bhai Sa. If we screw up New York, it’s over. No money. No freedom. No dignity.”

Karthik (seriously):
“Then let’s prove him wrong. Let's show him we’re not just kids playing businessman.”

Aditya (grinning faintly):
“Right after I stop crying.”

They laughed weakly, but the pressure was real. For the first time, they understood what it meant to carry the Rajvansh name.
